“The staff here Was awesome especially janet. The physical and occupational therapy was greatly beneficial to me. It’s something that I have needed. They gave me much strength and confidence and i’m walking great now. The food was healthy and good especially the ice cream. The hairdresser came especially for me on one day because she missed me on the weekend. I thought that was very thoughtful. I’m ever grateful for the experience here.”

I am very pleased to say I have enjoyed how Lashunda the D O N of the 500 hall and her nurses has cared for my mom through the years. Florence, Herlind Drew, Bea the hospice nurse . A couple of CNA’s like Donald & Ana, and my mom call him Anthony. But my mom praised their work.Today I met an on call hospice nurse Agatha that was like an angel. My mom was Soo sick. “When I came to Villages on Macarthur I was very depressed and unable to walk long distances with my walker without being short of breath. After doing rehab here I am now able to walk long distances with my walker and even some short distances without it. The rehab team has really helped me to get back on my feet. Especially Will, he helped me realize how much potential I really had. I also did speech therapy which has really made me more aware of how I am reading and spelling.”

“Number one STAFF in the world there very easy to communicate with and Director is supreme in getting things done! My Ambassador Miss Jay was very personal at make sure that I was getting the proper care, she’s funny, caring, and the best problem solver that I’ve ever met. She went above and beyond to make sure all of my issues were resolved. My physical therapist Robby was very good at helping me keeping my strength up, and educating me on my body and diet, also a good listener. The sweetest occupational therapist Ms.Jo-Ann was so caring and supportive.she made sure I could, confide in her and laugh even on my bad days. The D.O.N. Ms.Lashunda kept me up on my meds,made me feel safe and was always concerned about my stay, and addressed any issues I had immediately. Mr.Tony made sure I had what I needed and was down to earth to talk too. Mr. Jude was the coolest man nurse I have ever met. The pain management Doctor Schick made sure I was comfortable, and took good care of me. Also, the wound care Doctor Allen listened to all of my questions and concerns. And the med tech Chinonye educated me on all of my medications and the weekend Supervisor Nakia was a very knowledgeable nurse and did whatever I needed her to help me with. And for all the people I forgot names I apologize but my grade would be differently an B plus because no place or person is perfect! Thank u Villages on MacArthur!”
